Our Pets Become Part Of The Family - When We Make Good Decisions!

"Don't you just want to take him home and keep him forever and ever and ever?"
"Don't you just want to take him home and keep him forever and ever and ever?"

When Thinking About Adopting A Dog - You Must Determine If Adoption Is The Best For Your Family.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, etc... meaning an animal that has previously been owned and now for various reasons has need of a new home; then you should be aware of a few important facts, before you begin your pet adoption process.

I really hate to be the one to "bark" this to you, but just like buying a pre-owned car... you also, if you neglect to do your research - may end up with a 'lemon' or worse! One of the big differences with ending up with a lemon for a new dog, versus a lemon of a car... is that most likely, there are no laws to protect you, after you have brought that adorable new dog home!

So... You Are Thinking Of Getting A New Dog?

Have You Considered A Pre-Owned Dog? You Can Get A Great Deal On Pets... Through Adoption!
Have You Considered A Pre-Owned Dog? You Can Get A Great Deal On Pets... Through Adoption!

Adopting a Dog - Is To Create Perfect Matches.

Looking into the deep dark eyes of a helpless, rejected and innocent dog... that some really bad person (had to be) must have certainly done something just awful to; and this is precisely the reason as to the "why" now, that this little helpless animal is in need of someone just like you, to now adopt him and take him in... can end up easily placing YOU - as being that same bad guy, in the eyes of that adorable creatures - next rescue ranger!

When adopting a dog, in order for there to be a perfect love match between pets and their new owners, you must find out just "why" this sweet and adorable creature is in "his" predicament in the first place and before you bring him home to meet the family and also, your other pets...

Warning: When it comes to rescuing needy dogs, love-at-first-sight, really can be blind! But it should not choose to be ignorant.

Lets just look at who's needs we are thinking about here?

ADOPT A DOG... "COULD THIS BE YOU... EVER"?

How To Decide If Dog Adoption Is For You?

To avoid being the bad guy from the perspective of the next rescue ranger whom potentially could come along -

1. Determine why you honestly want a dog in the first place.

2. Why are you considering adopting a dog as a way of finding the right dog.

3. Make sure you understand all the pitfalls of dog adoption - or bringing home a dog with potential issues and baggage.

4. Can you afford the sacrifice, physically, emotionally and financially of adopting a dog, as a way of adding to your family?

If You Decide To Adopt A Dog... It Won't Be That You Were Ignorant About Pets!

Once you are able to honestly research each of the answers to these questions, you will then know if you are a good candidate for acquiring your new dog through the avenue of dog adoption.

As fun and rewarding as it is to have a family dog that is part of the family - it is equally sad and disappointing for everyone involved - if things suddenly go sour, because you "didn't know"...

You can't afford, when adopting a dog - to have ignorance as an excuse for a failed dog adoption. When a failed adoption of a dog, is the result of good intentions, that is just not good enough. Our pets don't deserve that...

TO ADOPT OR NOT TO ADOPT A DOG?

Whatever!
Whatever!
WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?
WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?

Research YOU And Re-Assessing... Is DOG Adoption For YOU?

Researching the 'how' of adopting a dog is an important part in making your decision to adopt a dog.

But t is only half of the equation for a successful pet adoption and love connection. Assessing YOU and your FAMILY, first -- will most likely ensure a successful addition to your family... if you choose to adopt a dog.

Research YOU first, ask YOU questions first -- know what potential 'issues' that... could be 'YOU' first!

Once YOU do and YOU are READY to now adopt a dog who really needs YOU... because YOU and your FAMILY know what to anticipate and you are READY TO ADOPT permanently, your new FAMILY member!

My sweet mother-in-law, who raised nine children and herself is now almost 80 years old.... has consistenly remarked - that she would prefer to have another baby, than to get a dog!

Having animals as pets, was never her thing...

Write-On!
