Police Woman in China Breast Feeds Helpless Babies Following Devastating Earthquake!
76Breastfeeding Mother in China Literally is Saving Lives!
A Woman is contributing to the country's relief effort following the recent earthquake disaster in China.
As a mother myself, who breast fed my own five children when they were babies, my heart has been touched deeply by this story of a 29-year-old new mother and police officer in earthquake ravished China. My own heart upon hearing this story has been moved at a level I have not experience for quite sometime.
This truly goes above and beyond the call of duty, or does it?
We also refer to breast-feeding, as nursing or to nurse a child. To give nourishment. This is the epitome of "Nursing" in my opinion, of which I am confident that I share with many others. I remember as a young mother, and nursing my little babies... they were so helpless and needy. Needy of life and that which would sustain it.
Human beings need both physical and emotional nourishment, and they must be nursed with both of these. This story is a powerful witness of the combination of "motherhood".
To nurture, is what women do best. This is one of the most humane and Christlike accounts that I have become aware of.. I believe -- in my life. Yet, this is actually a very simple gesture, really. There is not a woman that I can think of, that if called upon to do the very same thing - would not do so in a literal heartbeat! This is not about color, race or religion, but life.
Women are givers of life. I don't know about the rest of you, but doesn't this make you want to do that which you can do, for those who are in great need? To contemplate the dire circumstances that so many in the world suffer from, because of various circumstances - today - has caused me to want to give. Not necessarily money, although that is a critical element and greatly needed.
But to reach out to others and give of my heart in ways that give life...
The Compassion of One!
ONE Mother and Police Woman Breast Feed Needy Babies In China...
Here is the story in brief:
A police woman in China is contributing to the country's relief effort following the recent earthquake disaster, and doing so in a very personal way – by breast-feeding eight babies.
This amazing 29-year-old chinese woman, a new mother herself, is being declared a "hero" worldwide - as this story of true nurturing and relief travels the globe!
The young mother is from the town of Jiangyou, which was also devastated by the massive earthquake. The baby that she recently gave birth to, is being cared for by her family while she continues to do the work that is necessary following the earthquake.
"She is nursing the children of three women who were left homeless by the quake and are too traumatized to give milk, as well as five orphans, the report says.
The babies who lost their parents have been put in an orphanage which does not have powdered milk, it says."
The death toll continues to rise from this tragedy...
This is a true act of charity.

This is really touching. If people have to post pictures of breasts on Hubpages, these are the ones they should see and publish.
OMG. This moved me to tears. Thank you so much for posting this. It is absolutely beautiful what the human heart is capable of.
Great story!!
Here in the UK, by law, its legal for a pregnant woman to use a policemans helmet to have a pee if in need!!
For me this would be a cool excuse just to get preggers!! lol
I saw this on CNN! I'm happy that her own family is for the most part ok so she can give like this :)
Dugg, Stumbled, and Thumbs Up!
Yes its a fact!! A pregnant woman can legally urinate anywhere!!
:)
This is wonderful and so well written. I wonder at the female body. Thank you for publishing this. Steph
sounds nasty to me, but i guess desperate times call for desperate measures
great info thank you
Wow! What a story...puts a whole new spin on the phrase "the milk of human kindness" ! :)
Stories such as these restore my faith in humanity. As a mother of five, I would have done the same. I'm sure any mother would step in during this time of need.
Compassion is a rare find these days. Thank you for brining this story to us.

What a wonderful thing for this woman to do. I want to point out though that in the US some women are not allowed to help feed another child for an incredibly stupid reason.
I was devastated when after the death of my daughter I was NOT allowed to donate breastmilk. I am a reasonably healthy 27 year old woman who had more than adequate supply with my son, the clotting disorder which caused my daughter's death was not a problem for breastfeeding - instead, it was because I lived in the UK during the 1980s and so cannot donate blood, and the breast milk banks went by blood bank rules.
